Michael Geremia
How I got here:
After obtaining both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University at Albany, I began my career in public accounting at KPMG. During my time there, I gained experience in large, public company audits in the consumer product and services industries. I then spent a couple years in KPMG's financial due diligence and strategy practice, mostly serving the consumer product industry in merger and acquisition procedures. I have recently moved back to Syracuse to assume a role in tax preparation.
Favorite part of the job:
Having the opportunity to work within a close-knit team and for the local community. It is always a pleasure to get to know the people and businesses we work with both professionally and personally.

Beneath the surface:
In my free time, I enjoy staying active through running, biking, and hiking. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends while trying new restaurants, watching our favorite sports teams, or the occasional weekend getaway.
