How I got here:
“I’m a Mechanical Engineer by education and joined Rockbridge after spending 11 years with General Electric. Outside of engineering, I’ve always had a passion for personal finance and financial planning. In fact, I started working with Rockbridge as a client many years ago and immediately recognized the value of their investment philosophy and unbiased advice. My background and experience provided an opportunity to change careers and join Rockbridge as an advisor and Chief Operating Officer.”
Favorite part of the job:
“Similar to engineering, financial planning and wealth management is about finding the best solutions for your clients. I enjoy building new relationships with clients and helping them find unique solutions to achieve their goals. As the COO, I truly enjoy the challenges of growing a small business and the process of continually improving how we work. Ultimately, I love seeing our advisory and back-office teams spending less time fighting with technology and process and more time focusing on making our clients successful.”
Education:
B.S. – Mechanical Engineering, Rochester Institute of Technology
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, (CFP®)
Beneath the surface:
I live on Onondaga Hill with my wife, Melissa, and our two young children Evelyn and Elliot. With Melissa and I both working full time and raising two children, we don’t have much free time. But when we do, we like to spend time together outdoors. It usually involves parks, playgrounds, and sporting events, but when possible, we love to cycle, hike, golf, ski and snowmobile.
